Textbooks are rebound into new, durable hard covers, with high quality binding - meant to withstand heavy use. The most durable cloth available, Group F Buckram, is our standard material used on all textbooks. Limited mending and repairing of pages is done at no extra charge. When practical, missing pages will be photocopied and replaced.
If you are looking to save money on textbook expenses, rebinding is a great idea! Do not throw away beaten up books, have them rebound instead of buying new!
Textbook Rebinding Services
A glimpse of our rebinding process . . .
Every Summer we rebind
thousands of books!
Worn out textbooks are given a second chance!
Folded page corners are ironed out and smooth again.
The spines of the textbooks are chopped off to create a new clean edge for applying the new binding.
With our BQ-470 Perfect Binder, we apply a very durable PUR adhesive to the textbooks' spine.
The edges of these books look old and are covered with marks and scribbles. Not for long!
Nice and clean edges! Like new again!
Buckram Cloth Covers are made to custom fit every textbook! Here the boards and cloth are ready to assemble.
All of the pieces are carefully put together to create the new hard cover.
Once the cover has been created, it is glued together with the book block.
The textbooks are then run through a hydraulic press that seals the inside pages and cover together.
Finished Textbooks are then inspected and packed for delivery!
Rebound textbooks look like new again!
Newly printed covers are bright, shiny and clean! Ready for distribution!
